Strafing

Strafing becomes more important at higher levels of the game. Becoming comfortable with using the strafing keys is important to develop early on.

Use the A and D keys to walk sideways. Making your movement as random as possible will put your enemy's aim slightly behind, which can mean the difference between who gets the first hit.
